Project Spotlight: Mersive Solstice

Mersive Solstice, or Solstice Pods, are similar to Apple TV, but allows for multiple devices to connect and share their screens as well as Android tablets and Windows PCs. Up to twelve devices can connect to a single pod allowing for greater collaboration among students in the classroom. These pods are only available in select classrooms but continue to expand across campus. Training sessions for Solstice Pods and Wireless projection can be found in ITDP’s Bi-annual newsletter as well as one-on-one consultations which can be requested at itdp@providence.edu

To learn more about wireless projection visit Wireless Projection Technology at Providence College
